Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) is an established field of allied healthcare crucial to protecting the nervous system of patients undergoing surgery. Established in 2008, CANM is Canada's only professional association dedicated to IONM. Our mission is to promote the field of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and foster the development of the profession through education and certification, so as to provide optimum patient care.
